The Vault was a social media-based puzzle competition to launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 on the Vodafone network.

Users formed teams and competed to be the first to unlock a weekly combination, giving teams a chance to send two members to a final event at the Sydney Opera House where they had the chance to win 50 Samsung Galaxy S5s.

The combination was revealed through a series of Vodafone and Samsung-themed riddles delivered through social channels and owned sites. Additional clues could be unlocked, and prizes won, by completing photo and video challenges.

The final event involved cracking one last combination through a further series of riddles and challenges using the features of the Galaxy S5 and the Vodafone 4G network. The winners could choose to split the phones with the rest of their team, or walk away with the lot.
